Maintaining impartiality and confidentiality

  • During the research,
  • When making decisions, it relies solely on objective evidence of compliance (or non-conformity) obtained in the processes conducted by the Laboratory.
  • Other interests or parties do not affect the process related to the fulfillment of orders, the performance of research, including measurement activities, elaboration of results, as well as decisions regarding the validity of results.
  • The activity of the Laboratory is organized in a way that ensures confidentiality and impartiality.

Impartiality

Research and Development Laboratory for Aerospace Materials carries out its laboratory activities in an impartial manner. We ensure that the Laboratory is properly organized and managed to maintain impartiality. Impartiality means maintaining objectivity. Objectivity means no conflict of interest or its resolution in such a way that it does not have a negative impact on the Laboratory's activities. Other terms related to the principle of impartiality include non-prejudice, neutrality, fairness, openness, non-partisanship, non-affiliation.

The management of the Laboratory acts to ensure impartiality. Personnel are not engaged in any activities that could undermine confidence in our competence, impartiality, judgment or reliability. We maintain the principles of impartiality in all processes, applying them equally to all our clients.

The laboratory is free from any financial pressure, and the personnel involved in the research, including management personnel, do not engage in activities that could cause a conflict of interest or threaten our impartiality. The management of the Laboratory declares its independence from both internal and external influences in the field of research activity.

Laboratory management is responsible for maintaining impartiality in laboratory activities and is not subject to commercial, financial or other pressures that could compromise impartiality. We take steps to ensure impartiality, and our decisions are based solely on objective evidence of compliance (or non-compliance) obtained in our processes. Other interests and parties do not influence our decisions. The activities of the Laboratory are organized and managed in such a way as to protect impartiality.

Laboratory management is responsible for ensuring impartiality and taking actions to identify and minimize risks to impartiality. Working with the client, the Laboratory systematically assesses the risk of impartiality in the context of contracts and orders. In addition, it monitors threats arising from conflicts of interest, familiarity and activities of related persons and organizations on an ongoing basis. If there is a risk of impartiality being compromised, the Laboratory refuses to carry out the tests. If a risk is identified, actions are taken to eliminate or minimize the risk.

All employees of the Laboratory are required to sign a Confidentiality Obligation and impartiality.

 

Confidentiality

 

The laboratory ensures the protection of the confidentiality of the client's information and property rights by strictly adhering to the rules of confidentiality. The Laboratory is responsible for managing all information collected and generated during its laboratory activities in accordance with legal obligations.

The laboratory has developed and implemented a Quality Management System in which it applies appropriate procedures regarding the protection of client's property rights and confidentiality.

In order to ensure the protection of confidential information and proprietary rights of the client, the Laboratory applies the following measures:

  • All staff of the Laboratory is obliged to sign the Confidentiality Obligation, as well as to comply with the obligation of professional secrecy due to employment in PRz in the scope of:

              - orders, contracts, offers and orders from external and internal customers;

              - test results and methods of obtaining them;

              - all information about the tested materials;

              - reports, test reports, intermediate records.

              - other confidential or classified information related to the research and development activities of the Laboratory.

  • Entrance to the Laboratory's premises is allowed only for employees employed in the Laboratory. Outsiders may enter the Laboratory rooms only with the consent of the Laboratory Manager or Laboratory Manager, accompanied by an RU employee.
  • Only the Laboratory Manager, Quality Manager and Laboratory Managers, together with the Laboratory employees appointed by them, are authorized to contact the client.
  • If the client participates in research carried out at his request, in accordance with the appropriate procedure - the Head of the Laboratory is responsible for such work organization that excludes the client's access to data and documentation regarding other tests.
  • Test results are stored and protected against access by external persons by protective systems, the unlocking of which is known only to the Laboratory Manager, Laboratory Manager and the employee responsible for performing the tests.
  • Records of test results are kept in locked places and may be made available to the client and persons indicated by him only with the consent of the Head of the Laboratory and the Head of the Laboratory.
  • Copies of reports issued outside the Laboratory are kept by the Head of the Laboratory. Laboratory employees and third parties do not have the right to inspect the reports, except for actions taken in accordance with the complaint procedure - Complaints.
  • If the client expresses the appropriate authorization and consent of the Laboratory, the Laboratory Manager may provide a copy of the report to the organization indicated by the client. However, you may not partially duplicate the report or select specific results from it.

Confidentiality

The laboratory ensures the protection of the confidentiality of client information and proprietary rights by strictly adhering to confidentiality rules. The laboratory is responsible for the management of all information collected and generated in the course of laboratory activities, in accordance with legal obligations.

The laboratory has developed and implemented a Quality Management System with appropriate procedures for protecting the ownership of customer rights and maintaining confidentiality.

In order to ensure the protection of confidential information and customer property rights, the Laboratory applies the following measures:

  • All Laboratory personnel are required to sign a Non-Disclosure Undertaking, as well as to comply with the obligation of professional secrecy by virtue of their employment with the PRz regarding:

             - orders, contracts, quotations and orders from external and internal customers;

             - test results and methods of obtaining them;

             - all information about the materials studied;

             - reports, research reports, intermediate records.

             - Other confidential or classified information related to the scientific and research activities of the Laboratory.

  • Entrance to the Laboratory premises is allowed only to employees working at the Laboratory. Outsiders may enter the Laboratory premises only with the permission of the Laboratory Manager or Laboratory Manager, accompanied by an RU employee.
  • Only the Laboratory Manager, Quality Manager and Laboratory Managers, together with their designated Laboratory employees, are authorized to interact with the client.
  • If the client is involved in tests performed to his order, in accordance with the relevant procedure - the Laboratory Manager is responsible for organizing the work in such a way that excludes the client's access to data and documentation on other tests.
  • Test results are stored and protected from outside access by protective systems, the unlocking of which is known only to the Laboratory Manager, the Laboratory Manager and the employee responsible for performing the tests.
  • Records of test results are kept in locked locations and may be made available to the client and persons designated by the client only with the permission of the Laboratory Manager and the Laboratory Manager.
    Copies of reports issued outside the Laboratory are kept by the Laboratory Manager. Laboratory employees and outsiders have no right to inspect the reports, except in accordance with the complaint procedure - Complaints.
  • If the client gives proper authorization and consent to the Laboratory, the Laboratory Manager may give a copy of the report to the organization designated by the client. However, it is not allowed to partially duplicate the report or select certain results from it.
